Doughboys game is now on Easter Saturday.
Bizarrely we are now scheduled to complete our fixtures on April 6th, with Holbeach not completing theirs until April 25th!

That will need a couple of tactical postponements then

You couldn't make it up could you? What a joke of a League this is!! But then I suppose they won't see anything wrong with that !!

Win all our remaining games and it most likely wont make any difference when Holbeach finish their fixtures!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, the United Counties League!
FFS! I was going to say it's unbelievable, but after the last two years that's not true! So it's entirely possible that we could win the league and not get to celebrate at a game. They couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery. How does any serious league not have a final day where all teams play?! No wonder the FA want rid of this league.

Laughable really, you'd have thought they'd at least try to not make it look so obvious. If they're so determined to treat teams unequally unfortunately there's not a lot can be done about it. Can't recall a team being forced to finish their season in the first week of April anywhere before. I guess Holbeach will be allowed to go on until May (as some teams were in 2012-13) if necessary.

It really does defy logic. For some reason they insist on us playing at Kempston in midweek (this is at least the third midweek slot they've given it) - yet neither of us are currently scheduled to be playing on 25th April.

No doubt our Hon. Sec is currently teaching the fixture secretary a few new words.

And we'd potentially lose out on a big money spinning crowd for any end of the season game whether we're trying to win the title or celebrating winning the title, Holbeach will potentially play
3 games after we've completed our season and will know what is enough to win the title unless we manage to confirm it on the 6th, have the UCL clowns any concept of fairness??!! Someone has to tell these muppets and rearrange that Kempston game for the 25th April at least surely! I never thought as a football fan I'd be in a position where I actually
want some postponements (which is probably likely having said that). I don't deny they have a difficult job at this level organising fixtures with weather and various cup competitions to consider, but how hard can it be, a quick look at some of the other step 5 leagues shows you that plenty of leagues at this level manage to have a regular schedule going up to the end of April and the whole league playing simultaneously on the last day of the season, so what is so different about the UCL, I'd certainly be interested to hear an explanation for this nonsense.
Completely unfair and unreasonable on us, but it means now there are so many reasons why we must win tomorrow, failure to do so and I fear we'll end the season in no mans land as to where we stand in terms of promotion or the title.

I think the UCL should be congratulated and applauded for this decision. No one thought it was possible for them to reach such a level of baffling incompetence, but they've proved their doubters wrong, and done so with style!
