I see that we are scheduled to play at Kempston on a Tuesday evening. Does this mean that:-

a). Kempston have fixed their floodlight problem

b). The UCL fixture secretary is oblivious to the problem

c). We will be playing in the dark

At least the Tuesday night game v Kempston is not far to travel and if the lights do go out we can all go round to Brownies place to watch Champions League on his HD 66" curved screen and raid his beer cellar/fridge!!!

So in the unlikely event that we get through all of those games we'll have 5 league matches to play across all of March and April!!

Terrible scheduling once again by the UCL fixtures secretary! Two at home then four away. Clueless. Absolutely no need whatsoever to be playing any mid week fixtures in January and February. If we lose Saturday fixtures due to the weather then they can be easily re-arranged for midweek in March and April if no available Saturday dates. Simples.

Not sure what the electric problem is at Rovers and if it just affects just the main pitch lights or the money spinner all weather one as well, would of thought unless it`s very major if the all weather one was affected it would be sorted quick due to the revenue loss. We could always play them on artificial?
Glad they got a Tue this season though ahead of some of the other less well off sides in the league, after all it was pointed out to us last season when someone mentioned the decent crowd there "we don`t need your money as we generate enough ourselves"
As for above though i`d go for. B) The UCL Secretary is oblivious, but to everything not just the Rovers power issue.

I never have any great expectations for how well the fixtures are going to be compiled - I'm just grateful and amazed in equal measure that the fixtures guy managed to actually find February on the calendar !!!! ;)

I see we have 4 away games on the trot - never heard of cash flow and bills to pay have they?? Great bit of planning there !!

A good proportion of these are likely to get postponed once the winter bites in - but leaving 5 matches for march and April seems a bit daft !! Guess it'll sort itself out in time .

Glad he found the bingo balls and has given me some fixtures to work around anyway :)

This is a common complaint from many UCL clubs, this and other seasons. Surely he could at least attempt to compile a fixture list with a home Saturday match every other week? Even with us ground sharing with the Doughboys this could be achieved easily enough for a 40 match season with no reserve matches needing to be considered?
When you see a list with four successive away fixtures then you can see that no attempt has been made whatsoever.

On the positive side :Don't forget we have a possible 3 KO Cup fixtures to fit in.
:With so many games played we may well have won the title by end of Feb.

For once lets hope for some bad weather.
The 4 successive away games is to compensate for the 6 home games in October!
