...To Yaxley in the KO Cup 3-0.

Yaxley now at home for the honour of hosting Diamonds in quarter finals.

PNS also lost at home to Eynsbury 1-2.

I'd worked that out 6 weeks ago. ;) However, the Doughboys Chairman was telling me the other week that he thinks they'll still win the league. However, he didn't realise that they had lost 3 matches on the spin. :D

Well if they've still got Alfie and Jake up front then it should make things interesting, I'm sure both will be looking to prove something against their old club and I'd hope they can make the Boxing Day game a bit more competitive this year for the big crowd, but I still fully expect us to pick up 6 points over the 2 games.

And we have Jason Turner, who will be sure to score against them.

Talk is cheap as they say. When I last looked at the league table they were 29 points behind us, on the same number of games, with a worse goal difference of 56. They will seriously need to up their game to take a point off us unless all of our players have an off game in both matches. However, I expect them to treat both games as 'their cup finals' so they will put plenty of effort in.

Please can we not lower this forum to either listening to or worse taking any notice of anything coming from the mouths of Wellies.
Everyone is going to win the league except us, every win we have ever had is lucky or undeserved, every opponent is unfortunate or harshly treated by the officials. The sad sods often come to watch us and end up leaving early disappointed. One of them who will remain nameless spend 5 mins during one of our games last season telling me how lucky we were & that a pen we had been awarded was a crap decision, I didn't have the heart to tell the clown that like him I was in the bar at the time & was fully aware he didn't even see the incident. I'm sure as a team they will be up for it, and a couple of players would love
to have decent games against us, but league tables don't lie so I can't see much beyond 6 points for us.
As a footnote I think the first time Welly will come up against Huntingdon will be 31st Jan 2015, so it's safe to assume the expert assessments is based on 11 wins from first 12 games and as pointed out, not being aware they haven't won so much as a raffle since then. F in clowns.
