Employer matched funding

During the first couple of years we as a club did really well in raising funds from a number of different areas including getting matched funding from companies as employers looking to support their employees in fundraising for community organisations.
This is an area that we have seen a drop off in recent months and we'd like to see if we can get it back up and running again. The amounts can be really significant and make a big difference to the club.
The process is usually a case of:
1) Finding out if your employer has a matched fundraising scheme (the amounts are often up to £1,000).
2) Completing a brief form to apply for the match funding including getting confirmation from the club of how much you helped to raise and how you did it.
These schemes dont expect you to have raised all of the money yourself, I'm sure the fundraising team would be happy to join in with organising part of an event, or to help you to organise your own event.
As a not for profit organisation this is one of the revenue streams that we can tap into that most other clubs can't so lets make use of it.
If anyone has any questions then let me or one of the other board members know.
