A banana skin indeed but we do owe them a beating.
Why do they owe us a beating?
And it really annoys me when we get referred to as "Rushden & Diamonds" we are
AFC Rushden & Diamonds now!!

I'd hate to start up this debate again, but if we* were never referred to as Rushden and Diamonds FC before on forums etc, I think it is unfair to castigate others for failing to add to the AFC prefix for the new club!
*not a Freudian slip ;)

They are obviously still peeved to have been beaten by RDFC in an early round of the FA Trophy on the 20th September 1994 in a replay at their ground. This was the season when RDFC reached the semi-final of that competition.
Almost 20 years ago to the day! It would be lovely to repeat that result. ;)

Hendon won 3-2 tonight which puts them in third place (for 24 hours).
scored first, then went 1-2 down before fighting back for win.
I should imagine Peaksy learnt quite a lot.
On Saturday they let a 2-0 lead slip to draw.

Ian Wright will be at Saturday's match to cover it for 'Wrighty's Road to Wembley''.

Should be decent media coverage for our club.

In conjunction with The Sun, lord have mercy. If he follows the winners as per the norm in these things we might see a bit more of him. Let's hope he picks another club next round.

Awesome, might bring a few more people down to the game as well to get photos with him and judging by their usual crowds, they'll need it!

It doesn't actually say he'll be at the game, does it?
