Sunday night is AFCRD night on the UCL Facebook page. If anybody would like to write something about the club then please inbox it to the FB page by Sunday lunchtime.

They should rename it to the "we hate AFCRD but like your money " page - I deleted that page from my friends list ages ago, couldn't stand the amount of anti diamonds bilge spouted by ill informed cyber warriors and their sycophants any longer.

I know Thrapston told me last season they didn't us want to be promoted. One of the ground hoppers on the Non League Matters Forum visited Thrapston last Saturday for the Woodford United match. He said the club bar didn't open until 2.30pm, he was the only one in there and the attendance was reported as 23.

I really don't understand why some of our fans get so worked up and tetchy over the UCL Facebook page. Yes there are a couple of idiots on there but the majority of stuff on there is banter and is intended in that way, we are the biggest club in the UCL so it is inevitable that we are there to be shot down! People moan about Paul Winston but i think a lot of what he posts is fairly humerous. Lighten up Eh?

Wolf, I don't let it bother me and I certainly don't get worked up by the bitterness of cyber warriors lol it just got so tedious !! Any mention of us and some of them went into overdrive - the misinformation bit was just annoying, but the vindictive nasty comments just bored me to death. Even if you tried to have a decent debate on there it'd turn into nastiness - I just got bored with the whole thing !!

I know what you mean, I've come close a few times to de-friending the UCL Facebook, mainly down to the comments of Winny (although he seems to have softened towards us).. and a K*ttering fan who apparently comes and watches us, but can't help but come across as a dick on the UCL Facebook page on a regular basis.

Ignore the trolls, they'll get bored and move on to someone else once we hopefully get out of the UCL.

If you get wound up by Winnie and Loader then perhaps having a computer isn't for you

Definitely!! I know Loader very well and as you well know he has put a fair few quid in our coffers this season :) His comments on the FB page are purely for a bit of fishing and underneath them he has got a fair bit of respect for what we have achieved.

If ANYBODY takes ANYTHING that is written on a Facebook page by an opponent seriously then defriending it is probably the best thing. I actually like reading what Winston and Loader write on there. I know its fuelled to get a reaction and by deleting the page they have the exact reaction they were after. Seems like a sense of humour has been bypassed by a few.

Sense of humour is still very much intact here!! I'm just easily wound up by the anti-diamonds drivel, which is why I avoid commenting on there, as I'd end up saying something I regret. Maybe I shouldn't let it get to me as much as it does, and take it as it is "banter".
