Club Songs
It has been suggested from the game on Saturday that we need more singing, and this is something I am absolutely in favour of!
How far have we got in player songs this year, so that everyone can be aware of them? I can only think of the following...
Alfie Taylor - Da da da da Alfie Taylor, Da da da da Alfie Taylor (repeat!)
Deven Ellwood - Oh Devon was a Miller, he didn't have a clue, but now he plays at the Dog'n'Duck he's Rushden through and through, he wouldn't sign for Whitworths, he said b*llocks to that, he signed up for the Rushden, 'cause Souster is a t**t
Super, Super Dev, Super Super Dev, Super Super Dev, Super Deven Ellwood
Ben Morgan - I like Ben Morgan, Morgan, I like Ben Morgan, Morgan, I like Ben Morgan Morgan, I like Ben Morgan
Jack Wisniewski - Wisniewski, oh oh, Wisniewski, oh oh, he comes from near Krakow, and ********************** him off
Chris Hope - Chrisy Hope Hope Hope, Chrisy Hope Hope Hope
Aysnley McDonald - Oh Aysnley McDonald, you are the love of my life, Aynsley McDonald, I'd let you s**g my wife, Aysnley McDonald, we like sh**ing sheep too!
Peter Okechukwu - Da da da, Oka-chuka-wuko, Da da da, Oka-chuka-wuko (which may not be fair to correct pronunciation!)
Perhaps we can come up with more between us on here? For example, what about more consistent singing of...
Mark Starmer - Mark Starmer's barmy army!
Starms and Peaksey are taking us up, Starms and Peaksey are taking us up!
Elliot Dent - He's Dent da-ba-di-da-ba-di, da-ba-di-da-ba-di, da-ba-di-da-ba-di (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68ugkg9RePc) (This was suggested by my step-son ;) )
Louis Smith Can't be bothered with all the na's but 'Louis Louis Smith' to the tune of the Jon Challinor/Rob Wolleaston song which I think is "baby give it up?"
Jamie Gilsenan Oh Jamie Gilsenan, he came from Thrapston Town, and he can play, where does he play, he plays in midfield, Gilly, Gilly, Gilsenan Gilsenan, Gilly, Gilly, Gilsenan, Jamie Gilsenan
Anyone care to improve or add?!?

Re: Club Songs
Right i think this could work really well for Qunicy:
(Based on the Jefferson Louis song)
When i walk down the street, everyone that i meet says Oi Big boy whats your name?? ... My name is Qunicy Shorumnu i come from near Togo, i play in goal for Rushden, Rushden!!
I have used Togo because i cant think of any Nigerian places that work very well. Lagos doesn't flow quite as well.
Thoughts??

Re: Club Songs
Abuja is the capital of Nigeria and would fit. Think this one could be a classic. Maybe we can have a Hayes & Yeading-style sing song where we sing this song for the entire first half tomorrow. ;)Diamond_ Wolf wrote:Right i think this could work really well for Qunicy:

Oh dear god.
A true outlaw finds the balance between the passion in his heart and the reason in his mind. The outcome is the balance of might and right.

However, there is a district in Nigeria called Enugu.
