Well done to Amy Williams in the ladies skeleton :)

Britain's first solo Winter Olympic gold for 30 years, top stuff :)

And the first gold in any sport since Robin Cousins!!! Fantastic achievement!

We won the curling not too long ago Jimbob ;)


I do love the fans over there, at every event there's been a Union Flag somewhere with some mad brits stood nearby.

Maybe it was indivdual medals then! Well the BBC told me that so it must be right! O wait...

This is the first individual medal for 30 years (since Cousins in 1980) - we've won gold in team events since then (curling, ice dancing etc). A great achievement :D

I somehow saw this last night, well I didn't see Williams run but I saw the other womens and when they did the ghost replay there wasn't 1 that was even remotely close to her. The course must take some battering after a while though.

Yep, we're notouriously good at the sitting down sports aswel, i.e. Cycling, Rowing.... :D ;)

Apologies for my misleading fact,and thanks to everyone for not hesitating to tell me i was wrong :oops: ;) :lol:

Irrespective of dodgy facts, this is still a fantastic achievement, and something that does not happen very often!!!!
