Was that the attendance that they read out? :oops:Formic wrote:The official attendance was actually 441, which was really impressive - as was the performance from the lads, who could easily have scored four or five in the first half, all of which would have been cracking goals.

Apparently Posh paid £300k when they signed him from ManUre. Only made one appearance last season due to long term injury. Looked lively in the first half.BartonRaz wrote:.......Nicky Ajose.

I thought tonight was a great success - 441 for a friendly on a Friday night during the holiday season, and on the same night as the Olympic Opening Event, is a terrific result, I'd said before the game that I'd have been pleased with 250 or so !!
Great performance from the lads too, all in all a cracking night - even Ralph had a smile on his face (he smiles inside mostly ;) ).
I'm going to bed happy tonight !!!

You correctly repeated what was read out - but that was corrected later.BartonRaz wrote:Was that the attendance that they read out? :oops:Formic wrote:The official attendance was actually 441, which was really impressive - as was the performance from the lads, who could easily have scored four or five in the first half, all of which would have been cracking goals.
I wouldn't be surprised to see that starting XI as the one that takes the field in our first senior game - it looked impressive, and there already seemed to be some decent partnerships forming.

Starms has done wonders already, he has a plan and the players have bought into it.
