I reckon this deserves its own thread anyway.

Good luck Billy! Hopefully he'll get a chance to join Simeon in the Prem next season.

Just think if we had agreed to sign him when we had our chance.......only £120,000 or thereabouts we might not have been relegated from the league in 2006.......I'll get my coat.

Just been reading the match report, in the programme for the final home match of the 2005 season against Cambridge United, for the fixture against Boston United in which Billy scored that second half hat-trick in 30 minutes after we were 2-1 down at half-time. What shocked me was the crowd of 3,671 (away 424) and it brings home to me just how the crowds fell away to our demise last year. :(

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

:D Mentioning his name was a very touchy subject. We've all moved on now and we can now give the lad a proper mention and bask in the glory that we set him on his way.
I still think we should have signed him........... ;)
