Just think if we had agreed to sign him when we had our chance.......only £120,000 or thereabouts we might not have been relegated from the league in 2006.......I'll get my coat. :oops:
Just been reading the match report, in the programme for the final home match of the 2005 season against Cambridge United, for the fixture against Boston United in which Billy scored that second half hat-trick in 30 minutes after we were 2-1 down at half-time. What shocked me was the crowd of 3,671 (away 424) and it brings home to me just how the crowds fell away to our demise last year. :(
