In the same league when Rushden & Higham had a goalkeeping crisis they had to put their manager in goal!
To be fair the main reason R&H had a crisis was their keeper kept getting himself sent off

And if R&H had a bit of bread like Rugby Borough they could have just "hired" a new goalkeeper from three levels above, not so simple when you don't pay!

Tell me about it, we've been competing against teams that pay in Step 7

I was just looking through the K*ttering Nomads team, quite a few recognisable names in there!

There's not much difference between the top five or six teams in the Comb and the East Northants teams in the Spartan South Midlands, evidenced by only high spending and rule breaking Moulton reaching the semi finals of the Junior Cup.

AFCR&D Under 23's were probably the best footballing side we played this season. Their game management skills need work though. Also the smaller pitches in Corby and some of the other grounds won't have suited them.

Maybe they could buy the vests off us! 🤣

But seriously, good luck to him.

Alex Collard has left Tamworth. He says he is sick of Tamworth yobbie fans and fed up with Peaks tactics and can't be bothered with the extra travelling. Or alternatively he has been promoted and will be working in London plus shortly to be a Dad. Arsenal could do with a decent central defender!
