Nathan Abbey is set to sign for K*ttering Town today to go straight in the side to face us tomorrow.

Why do I laugh when I read that?

Not surprised with that one tbh! I think the fat boy was planning on giving up to continue with management, so Nathan would be a good signing for them. Just hope he either doesn't play on Saturday or has one of his bad games!

He will be playing Saturday because Lee Harper is injured with back injury atm. Fingers crossed he has a bad game. We need to pressure him becuase he makes mistakes when you put him under pressure.

I think JEMS will know Abbeys weeknesses so hopefully they'll use that to their advantage tomorrow.

Dreadful news for us, Nathan was a tad pissed off when he left us I understand, so will be up for playing a blinder tomorrow - and he is a good keeper despite what many may say, given their problems he's a good signing.

BUT, on the plus side, he was the main reason we lost to Brighton and he's always capable of a total howler - so fingers crossed eh

I see on their Forum someone has said its 80% certain that the game is on "according to someone he knows at the club" - so thats good news if true - apparently the pitch looks good, just a touch hard down one side. My first football in what feels like an age, please PLEASE be on !!!

My instinct is this is a good signing for them. Abbey was never going to win over our fans - but was a good GK who had the occasional cock up. There were a few games where Abbey did nothing wrong for us though and was a credit to us. I'd rather they had Harpur in Goal for tomorrow
