Before the merger? Be interesting although i doubt many people who watched the old sides frequent this board.

I had season ticket at Rushden town.

Irthlingborough Diamonds. I don't remember even having season tickets :lol: . I do remember it was 50p to enter through the original turnstyle (which was probably just to the right of the entrance to the South Stand big doors - more or less).

My Dad played for Diamonds in the 70s and that was were my family lived, they all followed the club but I'm not exactly sure to what extent.
I was only a few years old when the clubs merged but I could imagine supporting the Diamonds had they not.

Guess my vote is neither then lol.

I had no link to either club, although i do live in Rushden, and i would have probably been interested in Rushden Town. Having said that i probably would have been a glory supporter :oops: and i was leaning towards Man Utd at the time :oops:

Started to go to Hayden road in the late 60's with my Dad.

I was born in 1990 so I wasn't into football til 1996 when I was mascot at Diamonds vs. Hayes on November 6th 1996 in which we won 2-1, if memory serves right.

Remember going to the odd game at Rushden Town as a kid, but i was 8 when RDFC formed!

Didn't support either, my dad invited me to watch a Rushden & Diamonds game in 1992.. forget who it was against, and i've been going ever since!

started going to Hayden Road in the mid 60s served on the committee for a couple of years ,played for the reserves for a season still a season ticket holder living 50 miles away
