He was just trending on twitter as well, sadly for the wrong reasons though, he's still a bit on the large side even now...

Wow, what a waste! Let that be a lesson to any half decent young footballers! Make sure your attitude matches your ability!

I still think he could have done a job for us last year and as an impact player coming off the bench this year.

Then again in his own words "I don't do the bench"

Damn right. The UCL, Southern League and probably the Conference is filled with players whose ability ranks with some playing as high as the Championship but whose attitude is definitely Sunday league (no offence to any Sunday League players). Most of them will tell you that has bad luck, bad luck that they couldn't pass a bar, bad luck that they had many managers who knew nothing and bad luck that their favourite food was a 3.00am kebab.

Love him or loathe him but Graham Westley was spot on with his 'attitude more important that ability' saying. He even named his facilities management company AMITA.

I don't think there are many southern league players capable of being in the championship.

*I don't do bench*. Good on him, he wants to play football, that's what its about at this level, part time players playing the game as a hobby, where is the fun in sitting on the bench.

There's no I in team though and as he's finding out you can't play football alone, you have to be part of a team. Sometimes to contribute to a team you have to sit on the bench, for a variety of reasons. Clearly he's not prepared to ever do that, unfortunately for him the only level where he's assured of a start whenever he wants one is UCL1.

I'm sure at some point he'll totally regret wasting his talent and be prepared to be part of a squad, but that's clearly not happened yet.
