I see Yaxley, Wisbech and Holbeach have strengthened their squads these past few days - so we need to stay on our toes!

They're now saying the match referee will inspect the pitch at 10am tomorrow morning. Frozen goal mouth again!

They do have a resident hot air machine so presume they will activate the poisoned dwarf in the morning that is assuming he's not out with the boy assaulting people. Do hope they win after a reply just to stack up the fixtures.

I wonder, if they got a couple of injuries, or the squad was stretched a little, whether they would prefer to win promotion or win the vase. I think they would take the trip to Wembley, over the league.

Given half their team has previously won the league with either Holbeach or Spending Utd or both & shown little or no desire to do the travelling & make the step up I think your assumption is 100% correct.

It's hard to view Holbeach as a football club any more. As long as they continue wanting to be led by a convicted violent criminal & drink driver, I think all their on-field activities are pretty much irrelevant.

Agreed. Holbeach's committee would have been fully aware of their joint-manager's activities since he was banned from driving 7 days after the incident last August, notwithstanding, his recent attendance in court.

Get over it guys - they proved they are low on morals with their ball hiding, timewasting and referee badgering tactics, they'll think he's just the man for the job !! Any decent club would have shown him the door, but as I said before, Holbeach have few fans and sponsors to placate, so why bother to do anything?
In the words of Kevin Keegan "I would love it if we beat them" (to the title) !! ;)

On a matchday note it's such ignorance that a club like holbeach (not that I've seen) has not gave official information as to whether their vase match is going ahead, knowing fine well erith team and fans are staying in travel lodge! Makes us realise what a great club and volunteers we've got
As I wrote that game is on...not that I cared, just for betting purposes  ;)

Ridiculous, manager has tweeted game on while official club account says ref will make a decision in an hour to see what work can be done on it.
Mind games by any chance?
