I've underlined the answer to that for you. This forum has always been and will remain unofficial.

You need a separate forum to voice any discussions about the club and team, one that will never be under the control of the club. You need the official one so that votes and proposals can be discussed in private.

The official one shouldn't be used for match threads and the like IMO.

Me too, yes Admin will need to verify accounts and we'll have to wait while they finish having a life ;)

The cheek of it eh? Having a day job, a family and wanting just a few minutes of the day to do normal "life" stuff - some people have no priorities ;) :D

I registered about an hour ago, and had been activated within a few minutes (although I hadn't had an email, I just retried it and it worked).

There's some excellent content on there already, so its worth people getting registered on both the AFC site and the forum.

I think the member's forum will also act as a good incentive for some of the people on here and elsewhere, who as of yet haven't become members, to do so.

I agree - I don't know how many of the "regulars" on here aren't members yet, but they'll miss out on some interesting debate if they aren't also able to contribute over there.

One thing I did notice was that you need to have logged in to the members area before logging in to the forum - so bookmarking the forum alone won't always work - especially if you are prone to clearing cookies.
