Indeed - and the other lesson is to wait until after the AGMs before making too many decisions - and use the time between the AGM and signing deadline to finalise things.

Cinderford have now decided to accept promotion. What a waste of everyone's time. However, this sends out a strong warning to all clubs not to go for promotion if they are not able to financially compete at a higher level.
