I thought all in all, helped by the weather of course it was an excellent day, superb pitch and excellent facilities. Whats with all the doughnuts, wish I had taken one when they offered them round now :lol:

Just for your information guys from what i here Oadby Town will be taking there reserves to st Ives on Tuesday night they have a bigger couple of games coming up in the Thursday and Saturday

That makes absolutely no sense. If you're going to get to the semis and then play your reserves, why not just play your reserves in the 1st round and save all the bother?

As was said earlier, we were made welcome yesterday off the pitch, so it was good to see that Chenecks ended up with the biggest crowd in Northants yesterday - a step 6 game that commanded a bigger gate than Step 2 (Brackley 285), Step 3 (K*ttering 256), Step 4 (Daventry 87), and the various step 5 games in the UCL Premier.
I notice Wellingborough Town are only two points above the drop again after yesterday's games - let's hope they can take advantage of their games in hand of the teams above them. Their clash with Kempston on Tuesday looks like an old-fashioned relegation 6-pointer.

I think they were a very professionally run club, a certain other club (mentioning no names!!) could learn a thing or two from them.
