2 points dropped :(
That really is a poor result against a team down the table, especially after getting the lead on half-time.
Glad another game comes on Tuesday to dust ourselves down, but that is a poor outcome today.

Official FT 1-1
Disappointing and it sounds like it may have been a similar game to the Wootton one where we really should have won against weaker opposition. Just hope it doesn't cost us later on in the season as we can't afford to drop points against the lower sides in this league if we're to be successful. On the bright side, we're still unbeaten in the league
Tuesday will be very interesting, our toughest test of the season undoubtedly!

sorry if I confused people on here but Radio Diamonds went off the air after the game still claiming it was a 2-1 win. I hope they will sort it out before Tuesday!

Harrowby 0-2 Spencer according to twitter is FT.
Oadby not playing so we go level on points with them.

Looks like Sileby have beaten Bourne, so they go top.
A draw's not the end of the world, level on points and games played with Oadby and only 2 points behind Sileby with a game in hand and remember Oadby dropped points at home to Bourne a few weeks ago, so we can probably allow for the odd few points dropped here and there, I have no doubt that 8 or 9 times out of 10 we'd beat the lower sides in this league, so whether we can finish in the top 2 or not may very well depend on our results in games like Tuesday's game.

Would go above Sileby with game in hand however.
Pending confirmation, I think top 3 is:
1. Sileby Played 8 Pts 19
2. Oadby Played 7 Pts 17
3. AFC RD Played 7 Pts 17
Be interesting to see how Bugbrooke did, they could be Played 5 Pts 15 if they won today.

Good, they'll be a real test on Tuesday. Hope we put a good 90 mins together or we could be in trouble.

I don't want to go overboard, but that was really really poor. The fact that we've been winning games is masking the problems that have appeared during games against Olney, Wootton and Burton today.
In the final third we're too slow, too predictable and seriously lacking in ideas. The first half as a whole left me thinking we'd borrowed some of England's sleeping tablets from midweek. I was encouraged by our result last weekend and thought we'd do OK without Alfie, but now i'm not so sure. If he'd have been playing today we'd have won against (and I feel like i'm saying this every week) probably the worst team we've played this season. I think we should all congregate down the D&D on Monday evening and collectively pray for a miracle.
With two seemingly very good sides in this league, this season will be defined by fine margins, and i'm sure the players are under no illusions that we should be putting sides like that away.
The atmosphere was uncharacteristically subdued today also.
On a positive note, another great attendance! Let's hope they return on Tuesday for what will be our biggest test by some distance, and one which has probably just taken on more importance.
