He's done some stuff with the Herald & Post hasn't he?
Saw his name come up after reading the H&P for work purposes. Suppose you have to find work somewhere!

Lynn News, is still a Johnston Publishing paper. Perhaps it's just a weekly edition as well and let's face it, apart from King's Lynn Town, there are not many senior clubs to cover in that region.

John Dunham says that even though ADFR&D get the following it does (at the monent the highest in the area) the paper cannot give us anymore coverage than the rest of the UCL.

the ET have been brilliant over the last season, however John took a bit of flack on facebook from our favourite S&L Corby club secretary and i think that has made him backtrack a lot.
Looking at this weeks paper there is "AFC Rushden & Diamonds host Fakenham Town in the FA vase" and thats it. Corby have 1 page, and K*ttering have 2.
I have just seen the EDP have interviewed the Fakenham manager for a feature tomorrow.
Until we move higher i don't think we will get any more exposure than we currently get which to be fair at times has been ok.

That's a load of crap. As a former journo, stories are placed that will attain the biggest readership. It's about readers, not "fairness". With a big support base, simply not featuring us only hurts their readership figures, and quite frankly it doesn't add up.
No wonder it's going down the pan.
Feature on....umm Whitworths or S&L story for example ;) is not going to increase your readership is it now. An AFC story might add at least 200+.

Out of interest, how much coverage does Brackley get this season? I suspect old habits die hard and despite the Ploppies fall from grace the amount of their coverage is the same as it was when the rag was called the 'K*ttering Evening Telegraph'!

Haven't seen any Brackley coverage on the ET Online throughout the start of the season (despite their great run) and when I've checked the back page of the ET there's been nothing to suggest any Brackley stories. Do Brackley get coverage from an Oxfordshire paper or the Chron?

Brackley aren't in the ET's circulation area I think. So wouldn't merit any coverage.
At least the NLP are taking notice.

They are talking
absolute bollocks as usual. They have trotted out similar lines before.
If it is about the level and not the crowds then how come Corby aren't getting more coverage than Kettrin ? We never got more coverage than Kettrin even when we were in a higher league.
They are a commercial organisation and they can write what they want, about who they want and if they actually wrote what people want then maybe more people would buy it and they wouldn't be in the state they are in. I used to buy it every day, I gave it a go when it went weekly but it was pretty poor. The last straw for me was the complete lack of coverage of our first game. I will not be buying it again.
They are and have always been a Kettrin paper and they can stick their stupid excuses where the sun don't shine.
