He's a modern day Darren Collins!

The lino in the second half missed a blatant handball and loved waving his flag for offside. Complete cock but hey-ho 3 points will do for me

That's superb, thought it might be 400 but didn't think it was that many, 450+ away fans then as there didn't seem to be too many home fans, brilliant, hopefully we can get 600+ for next Saturday :D

Their secretary told Dave Albon that their usual attendance is around 70 and that would include a few visiting fans. So my guess is that were probably 470-475 AFCR&D supporters there today.

A few pics from the game. Redsnapper will have some proper ones of the goal/celebrations. ( I was too busy celebrating, though it did look pretty mental over there :-) )

Here comes the goal, Alfie free and heading toward the 6 yard box for his header.

Apparently Redsnapper's pictures of the goal are really good. I sense a new banner picture. :D

Let's hope he doesn't get injured/suspended/snapped up then!
Hopefully the signing of Newman will mean it wouldn't be the end of the world if he was to get injured or suspended but he certainly would be a big loss that's for sure. And I guess he'll be keen to be here for a while as you don't drop down 2 divisions for no reason but I have little doubt he'd be a good player quite a few levels above this one.

And SP, was about to post the same thing, its crazy moments like that, that's one of the reasons I love football and Diamonds so much, amazing how only 4 games gone into our first season and we've already got new memories, Diamonds really are forever :D

Not a great performance perhaps, but a terrific result in the end and a very enjoyable day out.
See Sileby lost at home which could be important in the months to come.
