I would have thought they had enough of their own problems to worry about.

Two of Diamonds wrote:I think that last statement still rings true today. PBDevs is still a fledgling business with start-up costs associated that are possibly affecting the club at this time. We must be patient, strong and trust this will change. Most important is that we must give the new people time to turn it around. They have had to firefight the place since they walked in, but have already made improvements to the environs of the club (the car park lights, the North Stand, the pitch drainage to name but 3).
We need grace under pressure guys & gals.
I think people were giving the new owners the benefit of the doubt Robin, I still am, but given the amount of speculation flying around they MUST make a formal statement sooner rather than later - delays will damage the business even more with suppliers starting to ask for cash up front etc, adding to the problem.

They've started to make some improvements to the ground sure, but hell, you make sure your employees are paid otherwise you don't have a business........unless that part of your new business venture isn't the most important to you?

I'm praying all of this is rubbish, I'm hoping Liam speaks out first thing on Monday and explains where we are and that there is a plan in place to sort this out, but I fear the investment capital just isn't there for the football side of the business. They may have investment (Government grants etc) for the NVQ business, but no way can that be used for the football club.

I'm sure they have a great business plan all nicely typed up, I bet it reads really impressive - but if you don't have the funds to prop the business up in the early days then you're never going to get off the ground - they may have that money for the NVQ business - but have they got sufficient funds for the football club RIGHT NOW?

Its also quite sad to see Ploppys revelling in the fact we may go under, I hate that club with a passion, but as I have stated on numerous occasions, I'd never want to see them go bust; I reserve that feeling just to MK Dons. I guess it shows the lack of class they have as both supporters and human beings and explains why I'm so right to dislike them as I do. Reading their message board is one long list of "everything that is wrong with K*ttering Town is down to Max Griggs and R&DFC", what a bunch of muppets, look a little closer to home boys !! If we go under there will be a lot of football clubs worried, banks will start to get nervous and it could be a massive domino effect happen throughout the non-league game. Be careful what you wish for guys.

Just going back on Two of Diamonds said on page 6 'give them time' well with no sufficent income you cannot pay your bills and there are other people outside of the club not being paid for sometime,if they do go into adminisrtation there are many people who will lose much needed money that has been paid out already and subsidising the club and cant afford to!

Exactly my point. These problems are deep rooted long term issues that cannot be sorted out in the short term so time is the factor. There are far too many "get rich quick" schemes and people who need an immediate solution so whatever the new owners are doing this must not be one of them. This club must sit on a rock solid foundation and that takes time to build. Many people on here are just adding fuel to the fire, and if that fire gets too big then we burn down our own house !! Mind you, that's the bueaty of this forum, it does give us a chance to vent ( I just hope no one at the club reads it and falls into the same mindset ;) )

I totally agree with you Robin, but paying your employees is a basic requirement of building that firm foundation - I don't think any of us want to throw money at the problem, we want people to plan for the future and build steadily, and everything we've heard thus far from Liam and Steve has made me think thats exactly what they were going to do.

BUT, these ptoblems have come out of nowhere, we were told at the last Fans Forum that the tax situation was sorted, the embargo was going to be lifted and that the financial situation was okay - how have we got to this in just a few weeks after being given such a positive message?

I know people from the club DO read this Message Board, and I hope they realise all we want is to have a thriving club into the future AND for them to have a thriving business running in tandem with the club, and we'll do all we can to help this happen, but we must be kept in the picture (up to a point) if we're expected to part with our hard earned cash - trust is a two-way street.
