Rumours on Ploppynet too that the groundsman hasn't been paid for 4 months and has walked away. Said groundsman could only say "no comment" in response (which is fair enough, he has a business to run after all) - but none of it bodes well and it's all depressingly familiar.

That's Paul Knowles who used to be head groundsman at Nene Park 7-8 years ago. He left to go to White Hart Lane and then formed his own company and looked after the Rockinhorse, S***fields and NP again and has always been an ardent Ploppies fan. If this is true that his company hasn't been paid then that's a disgrace.

Just looked at Ashikodi's twitter - seems like an interesting and well balanced gentleman who can put across incisive, witty and intelligent comments in a delightfully light hearted and charming manner.
