Amongst the stuff in the article that made me smile was this:-

"I've spoken to a friend about upgrading the pitch," he said. "He supplies a product called Terracottem which is a jelly-like compound that sits under the ground to soak up excess water and then release when it's needed."

Well that turned out to be a rip roaring success. :clapping:

Well they got it half right, the pitch certainly used to release large quantities of water, just not always when needed.
