The old chestnut about applying for promotion brought up once again. Poor old Dick, clearly has been given an inflated figure by their committee to justify not putting an application into the FA by the deadline date of 30th November! The fee is £100 plus VAT and is actually for the ground grading inspection.
Even Shildon FC's secretary was lax in getting their application in by the deadline, it only arrived a day late but the FA still wouldn't accept.
