Not the first time the Bucks have had 'issues' with their floodlights. Back in their 2011-12 title winning season there was a period from Jan to March where matches were postponed and a Hillier Cup match against Corby Town at Station Road was postponed 3-4 times before being re-arranged for Steel Park. IIRC they even played a few home league games at Fernie Fields.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure it wasn't the old Rushden's James Broadbent? I don't remember him ever having lego hair!
It was him. A Diamonds fan isn't he? He showed up at the Forum that Keith Cousins chaired a couple of weeks before the end of RDFC.

Both Diamonds Broardy, 11/12 up to 18 at the old Club, think the only games he played for us were 2 of first 3 friendly's including St Neots away, as he has in last 2 seasons he plays up here at start of season but then come Sept he's back at Uni. I thought he had a good game yesterday despite letting 5 in, some of the other keepers we've played this season we would have had 8+, spoke to him after the game and we may not play him again as will probably stay in Eastbourne area teaching. Good keeper, nice lad wish him all the best in the future.

It was my lad that scored the Buckby goal-he's seems to find it natural to score against you :P
I`m all for honesty Woodford Dad but having checked the records i`m also a little confused, the goals for Woodford Under 18s on Nov 23rd 2011 were Ames OG 55mins, Stewart N 62, Stewart A 71, the goal on Saturday for LB was credited to Ed Kostium :o now I know Woodford is a small village etc etc but the are some things that are possibly best kept within "the tight knit community of your village" that said if you are indeed the Father of everyone in Woodford under 35 fair play to you, though it may be a bridge to far to claim the parentage of all those playing for LB Saturday

Cracking comment from one of the Yokels in the Clubhouse prior to the game, "this is bad news for us normally on a Saturday there`s only a dozen of us in here and it`s nice and quiet" I did apologize on behalf of us all for spending lots of money over the bar and all the inconvenience that must have caused them.

After the bloke in the tweed jacket and Rugby tie (who was quite frankly being a massive bell end behind the bar), continued to take the piss out of all of the football related goings on, I felt it appropriate to let out a load " Rugby is f*cking sh*t mate" as he walked passed again piping up with an anti football sarcastic comment.
To be honest the whole of Long Buckby is horrible, the local pub, the cricket ground, the social club, the football ground, the football food, the football sh*tters, the people in the social club. If there is ever a reason to get out of the UCL, not visiting Long Buckby has got to be a major one!
They must have been paying some serious wedge to Dunkley, Faz etc to make them want to ever go and play football over there every other week. It is what you call in the trade a "proper sh*t hole".
Of course these views are my own and not the official view of AFCR&D.

They've used 48 players to date and the season isn't half completed.
