There was certainly more than that, but a lot were their kids team and girls team (I think) so they probably got free admission.

I agree with the fullbacks, we need someone who can get forward and support the wingers. It was so important that the wingers had a good game yesterday. When dunks does not play we lose the target man route, when bunts does not play we lose the creativity in midfield so we have to use the wing play as our main threat. with ELJ going off injured we were left with fazel who simply is not good enough at the moment and gearing who is not a direct/tricky winger. We need a couple of new additions and I would like us to make a statement of our intent to win this league by going out and getting the quality players that would make that happen. The board need to back the management on doing this, i dont mean we need to go crazy but an extra 50-100 pounds on a player makes all the difference at this level and we should be in a position to do it. We have a great team when we are on it but lose a couple of players and we become a good team, good teams come unstuck against other good teams. We have to win this league now, anything else will see this season as a disappointment know. 2nd or 3rd with a very good vase run would have been a good season but now due to going out in our first game we have extra pressure to win the league. I think we are good enough at the back and would agree with most comments on here with the Butt, Dolmon. Ashton, Brown option for the next game. Confue is quality but he needs a ball player alongside him (brad is not the fit for that) and Dunks and Turner will score goals. ELJ is a rising star yet we need a bit more quality on the other wing and in the middle if bunts is not fit.

Shame about that if Hullbridge do announce that as the official crowd. We had a good day out & they came across as a decent Club & nice people, so I hope they don't let themselves down by pulling a fast one regarding the crowd, they may not be used to it but we are & if the were 10 there the were 250+ without doubt. The kids bit is irrelevant, they were in the ground so they count, you then adjust the revenue figure accordingly. If we ever get the true number for yesterday it will I would expect be about 275. Possible the LARGE Gent by the would be turnstile in the Maroon coat forget to empty all his pockets as from memory having watching him through the clubhouse window he put notes in his back left, back right & front pocket.

The (raffle) ticket handed to me on entry was number 170 so presuming they started at 1 (?) let's just hope the tweet was a typo eh? People were queuing up behind me and there were quite a few in the bar still to go in - got to be a lot more than 152 !!

Some excellent camera work given it was out in the open. I thought Peaksy's interview was spot on given the circumstances.

Disappointing result, was hoping for an eventual tie down here in Devon, and a finish at Wembley, but looking at the positives at least we can fully focus on the league now. No fixture congestion for us. :)
