And its not as if they don't get many penalties either! Seriously, they must have an average of about a penalty every 2 or 3 games in 2014 and they've already had 4 penalties in 5 games this season.

No he's left, apparently tossed his shirt to one side when he was substituted and did his usual thing on twitter. Thought he wouldn't last until October! The younger King has also left Bedford, only Neil remains.
Aaron's latest tweet is him announcing his retirement from football.
Aaron throwing more toys out of the pram, then. What a waste of a potential professional career. Although when the dust settles he may return to the non-league scene and cause a few more fallouts. Luckily for him his online CV looks pretty impressive with some of his most positive moments (Oadby, Cambridge) captured by the splendid AFCRD TV team.

Think all the toys have long since gone, it's the blanket & pillow coming out now. Said it more than once, but it is a shame as when you talk to him 1 to 1 he's a different person. Sure he will reappear but options at any decent level must be running out. Feel a bit for Bully after comments he'd made about Aaron & having this happen within a matter of weeks, but maybe he was a little naive, didn't understand the size of the task or not the lion tamer he thinks he is.
Presume if many posts added to this someone will edit them onto the King thread page 6 so it's not intertwined with all the positive posts regarding the PNS game.

With the naked eye some 60 odd yards away it looked like a red card at the time, after seeing that I'm guessing we'll be appealing that straight red? (We can can't we?). His foot is down and it isn't two footed, not a red in my book having seen that, just a firm challenge in which he won the ball. Anyone agree??

It looked a 50-50 challenge to me - with Ashton winning the ball and the PNS player putting in a bid for an oscar with his writhing antics. The fact the linesman didn't make any kind of indication despite being so close suggested that he didn't see anything wrong - something Peaksy confirmed with him, so I think the referee allowed himself to be swayed by the protests and gamesmanship from the home side. It certainly wasn't as bad as the Jack Wilshire tackle on Gareth Barry a couple of hours later than only got a yellow.

I put it down to an assist from Pinky & Perky.

Can't see one or both of them being there by Bonfire Night.

Looked like a red to me, no doubt.

Studs up? Tick

Out of control? Tick

With excessive force? Tick

Two footed? Tick

Ticks all the boxes that a referee needs to show a red card, doesn't matter that he wins the ball unfortunately. But no doubt the PNS mob made the ref certain of his decision, but it was a red.

Footballs a contact sport, can't see how you can have excessive force. Both feet up?

Who taught you about football?
