Sorry to be the bearer of bad news OD, not sure where Jerry is but was not on 18 strong list of signed players given out by Bedford prior to start of season and he has played no part in any of the 3 games played so far. Aaron has been mostly used in a more forward role playing behind Liversedge, midfield most likely to be made up of Josh Winters and Sam macrae. Will try and find out about Jerry tonight as going to watch the Eagles.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:Will be great to hopefully watch Aaron King and Jerry Nash in central midfield for Bedford. Five years ago they were playing together for RDFC U16's.

The Eagles also have ex-R&DFC Young Player of the Season Joe Hopewell.
A better source of Bedford Town than their official site is this one - http://neweyrie.co.uk/team%20.html
I hadn't realised there was a third King brother, with all three playing for the Eagles.

Asked about Jerry, couldn`t find anyone who knows where he is but it`s not Bedford. No sigh of Aaron last night so presume he was working or injured?? the locals mentioned a shirt removing and twitter comment after being taken off last Sat, hope he hasn`t done it again after only 3 weeks at another new Club, he is under all the bravado a decent lad but appears to almost enjoy turning people against him, sure when he gets to 30 and looks back he`ll think why the hell did I do all that.
Wouldn`t want to tempt fate but, I would be disappointed if on 30th we didn`t ............., a lot of effort from Bedford but not much football. Neil King looked decent in the middle, front 2 was changed from Sat with Rawlings and Cross starting to little effect, Liver Sausage came on, tried to kick everthing other than the ball & got booked (could have been red)
One major shock in this league last night, the team from up the road who it was being predicted by some of the clowns that follow them would go the season unbeaten!! lost 3-1 away to Leighton who beat Bedford last Sat. Though if instead of telling the world how good they are and how they will p.ss the league, they had looked at other teams they may have noticed Leighton have 5/6 possibly more of the very successful Ampthill Town team from last season, K*ttering may well end up winning that league but they may have to spend more to do it, which will increase their existing reported debt of 200K + nicely.

Cogenhoe winning their FA cup replay last night gives them a home tie v Ploppies. That should bring in a few pennies.
Of course the super plops will win at a canter wont they?

It will be interesting to see who gets the biggest crowd on the day, us or the Cooks, as it appears Ploppies fans do not travel in the same numbers as our fans. I believe the crowd at Leighton last night was only 239.
