A point away from home at this time of the season is not a bad thing, I'd be much more concerned if we hadn't played well nor created chances. We're still gelling as a team and to average 2 points a game is good. I see the offy site has an attendance of around 350, so that's a good turnout.

Any more news on Champagne-gate?
Champagne gate is over and done with, we move on to Harrowby and the talent spotting continues.

Wootton are top of my league so far 8-) 8-)

Will we find out an official attendance at some point, cause I was given a slip with 244 on it when I went in and that was 5/10 minutes before kickoff and I'm not sure whether there were as many as 100 that came in after me, but I may be wrong.

Edit: I was wrong

Well that was a frustrating game!

We really didn't play as well we can today, but despite that we still dominated the match and had we taken our chances we could, and perhaps we should, have scored 3 or 4 goals! On a positive note I thought Dent and Merrill played very well and Alfie looks to be on fire.

With regards to the concerns raised by "nsman" I think anybody who goes to a football match, at any level, expecting there to be no bad language is, with the greatest respect, being incredibly naive - bad language, rightly or wrongly, is ubiquitous in football. Of course, if the reports of racism are true, then that is on a whole other level and is completely unacceptable. However, I would have thought that the more prudent course of action would have been to raise this with an official from the home club, so they could take immediate action; or perhaps contact the club directly, rather than post on an unofficial messageboard.
