At the current rate, with the financial obligations Nene Park contractually puts on K*ttering Town Football Club, I'd say it would. About 140 odd years worth of it.

He's not by any chance 'big ace' on the SL forum as well is he, cause if he is, that would make a lot of sense, its fair to say some of the posts he posted on there a while back were quite optimistic amidst the crisis that saw them teetering on the brink
The idea that anyone would think we'd want to go back to that place is beyond insane and it always bemuses me how people think because of our fanbase and the old club's history of the FL that we're a shit or bust club until we get back there, like everyone else at the club I'm very happy with the current mentality of sustainability at our club and would be worried if it was any different, even if it meant we had to spend another few seasons at least in the UCL.
I agree. The fact that in Step 6 we managed a midweek crowd of 759 at the D&D, which was exactly the same as the crowd that saw R&DFC at Nene Park two years ago, in a home midweek game at Step 1, suggests our core fanbase isn't too worried where we play.

As we are all aware, a crowd of 600, 700 or 800 at the D&D will put a healthy balance into the club. The same crowd down at NP will generate just enough to cover the overheads and leave the club with little or no balance.
NP was part of R&D.
The D&D is part of AFC.

Plus, for me its definitely better to have crowds of 600 in a smaller ground like the D&D, rather than 600 in a ground like NP where as we know well, the crowd looks very sparse and we have close entire stands

Still hurts to see the stadium branded like that.
The article doesn't help by calling Nene Park "the former home of K*ttering Town FC" - I'm pretty sure another team played there at some point...

Strange one that raises a few questions
Who cleared the debt?
You would presume Kieth Cousins but why?
Has it been cleared to get it ready for a new tennant, who?

I don't think the fact that electricity has been turned back on means the outstanding debt has been cleared. That debt is, and remains, the responsibility of K*ttering Town FC Management Ltd. However, the 'third party' may have given assurances and/or pre-payment bond to the energy supplier regarding future electric consumption.
'In a statement EDF Energy said: “The debt has not been cleared, however a separate company is now paying for the electricity being used at the ground.” The firm would not reveal which company is now paying the bills at the Irthlingborough stadium.'
At least the indicates the owner(s) has plans for Nene Park, at least in the short term, that doesn't include demolition. ;)

Well if Coventry and Peterborough have been discounted (too small) then who? It would be funny if Ladak's last FU move would be to take them back.

I'm sure that Ladak has convinced them that millions of pounds owed in sponsorship will soon be in his hands and he'll be able to clear up everything.
