I don't think Ploppies supporters live in the real world. They are querying whether Thomas Baillie is up to the mark. The poor bloke appears to be working his b******s off, for little or no reward, yet some on Poppynet think they need an experienced replacement. It beggar's belief.

Perhaps they might struggle to see out the season on gates like that.
It appears that money isn't a problem any more if they can upgrade Latimer Park to Southern League standard.

Yeah, doesn't matter who you are, if the players aren't even good enough for the UCL, nothing you can do really. Though what on earth was that good run they had a couple of months ago, all of a sudden they were doing quite brilliantly in the circumstances and then it all collapsed again.

I've just read the interview with Ladak in the Northants Telegraph, and it's the same old stuff - with a headline that states Jeune "can have" his shareholding if he can secure a future for the club - but then the article doesn't state whether this includes sorting out things with Cousins and the Nene Park lease. Ladak suggests he's not involved with any negotiations with Cousins any more, as he was the "middleman" and has left interested parties to deal direct. That seems odd, if one assumes he is the leaseholder he would be much more than a middleman.

Similarly it makes no mention of who would need to pick up the tab for the CVA payments / ex-Player payments or Nene Park running costs.

It sounds like the 'dangle the gold carrot' act by Laddak,. you can have your shareholding if you spend a fair amount of your money, secure a reasonable status and ground for the club, and then, what ? I have decided I am the major shareholder and that's the way it shall remain. Thanks for sorting out my problems. NOT to be trusted.......

That speaks volumes as it seems clear to me all other parties have exited and Richie J and the volunteers are the only ones still about. KC is not a stupid man and even if no rent is being paid by Sadact i doubt he do anything as rash as kicking them out yet from Nene Park as to do so will let RJ get his wish and the lease cancelled, the smart money is to let it go to the end of the season then threaten a winding up order so the threat of another insolvancy event hangs over KTFC, with a minimum ten point deduction for the following season or even expulsion to the UCL to make RJ better his offer on cancelling the lease, well that would be my scheming plan anyhow

I would imagine KC has paid the bond to the leccy company to get the ground prepared for hiring out for those lucrative end of season games to give him some income from the stadium.

There's quite an odd comment by Jeune on the Poppytalk forum (an even more bizarre place than Poppynet). In that he appears to state that the volunteers have paid 3 months of CVA payments (4.5k) which is odd on several counts.

1. The volunteers had stated that all the takings were going to fund the hire of Steel Park, the team and their expenses - which seems at odds with paying what the club owes from the Ladak regime - especially given various suggestions that Ladak wouldn't get near that money. Has one of the volunteers paid the money out of their own pocket ?
2. I thought Ladak was one of the major creditors for the CVA - so does this mean they are paying him his CVA entitlement - again quite at odds with earlier suggestions - or did he waive his debt? That too suggests one of the volunteers must be paying it out of his own pocket.
3. 4.5K seems quite low - 18K per year or 54k over the three years of the CVA, although I can't remember what percentage of debt they were committing to pay off.

Prediction time. When will they be officially relegated ?

I'm going for the 27 March at St Neot's.
