That'll get brownie going - he stopped a physical count at 260 on Saturday, so a little massaging of the figures maybe??
Kings Langley didn't count those that were outside the ground drinking in front of the clubhouse. ;) That was one way of getting around the FA rules regarding alcohol. :o
I'm sorry, but that can't be true! We paid our entrance fee and therefore were in attendance - we were in and out of the ground all afternoon and there was no-one there to monitor people actually going through the gate.
My guess is they got their attendance abacus from the same place as Dover !!
To me there was 350+ at Kings Langley game
I think there was 1 of 2 reasons why 205 was put down by (Kings Langley)
1st reason is when we paid at the entrance (they counted 1 person for the car +coach) as the attendance.
2nd reason (although don't like nor agree with) if you state your attendance as lower, you don't have to pay the taxman that much.

Highly unlikely they will pay tax. More likely and and has been mentioned on FA games the gate is split. The less you declare the less you have to pay over to your opponents.

I doubt Kings Langley are even VAT registered.

They certainly would not have been CAMRA registered what was being offered.

Wasn't it dreadful? I don't think the lines had been cleaned out this century.
