Although it ain't fair to underestimate the opposition in the league, but the way long Buckby have been leaking goals in my opinion it gives peaksy the chance to take a gamble and try a new format. Don't think it would harm Joseph to start, with Lorraine coming on late on. Really don't know why Joseph is on the bench week after week. You can't expect him to score every game, but he puts in a shift. We need our confidence back..

Can't agree with that. What cost us last season was not being able to beat Boston away, Desborough at home and PNS home and away.

Just got home and I'm gutted by that result, just like everyone else.

They took their chance, we didn't take ours - that's what loses you matches !!

Too disappointed and tired to say anything else - it's now time to get focused and go and win the league - an old cliche I know, but apart from the ko cup it's all we have now !!

Strong side to play Whitworths on Tuesday to get this loss out of our system and then let's crack on on the league on Saturday !!

The one glimmer of positivity was the Charlie Butt cameo.

Impressed with the new keeper. On just one showing he is more assertive than any keeper we have had.

We have a sequence of games now that give us the chance to go on a run similar to that which we had in October and really put the pressure on Huntingdon,( who are at home to PNS on Wednesday).

There is at least one positive to take from that game - when we went to 3-5-2 with Charlie at the wing, we looked much, much more dangerous. Something to consider starting with next time out? Dolman & Parky are certainly good enough to handle it at the back, and with Gearing, Confue, Butt, Koriya and Harris in the middle of the park we should be making enough chances.

Ultimately we need to start putting those chances away - I don't care how we do it, let's just get out of this league!

Just woken up and I was hoping that yesterday was a bad dream..... Unfortunately it wasn't! I have felt so disappointed to lose a game of football for a long time. We were so one dimensional and created hardly anything. I really cannot understand why the management persist with Fazel, he continually runs down blind alleys with little effect. He's a talented footballer but not used in the right way. I could add more but I'm still too pissed off :(

After EL-J went off, the front six yesterday were the same as the one that took Bedford Town apart. In the Bedford game we had Brown supporting Koriya and Henderson supporting Gearing, and they in turn helped create chances (or had chances themselves). We played in a positive manner away against Bedford, even though they were a step 4 team, unlike yesterday, where we gave Hullbridge too much respect and thus had little attacking threat throughout the side.

I agree with Formic. We are always better when we have two attacking/overlapping full backs. When Merrill and Brown play it gives us just that. Whilst Joe is not fit lets see what Charlie Butt can do, he has certainly impressed in his two appearances to date.
Jamal is not a natural full back, so it is unfair to criticize him when he is trying to do a job just to help the team through a difficult period.
For me, at present, we can do no better than Butt, Dolman, Ashton and Brown as our back four.
