Can anyone remember the last time we had 3 men sent off then? Obviously the club in its present form hasn't had that, but what about the old club? I can't seem to recall it ever happening in my time supporting RDFC 2004 onwards.

As well as the weather threatening the game I was worried that it might get abandoned with us going down to six men given the way the ref had lost it, and then we had the clash of heads involving Tom Lorraine in the penalty area.

Can remember going down to 9 men at least twice (Coventry away and Histon home) but not 8.

I was impressed with the Poppies on our away shirts - they seemed to be very well made given they survived the monsoon.

Mal's pics are added to the initial match summary - I can imagine Paul has a serious challenge on his hands doing the full report - especially as he was also doing the Radio.

It's all been said by others, but I am so immensely proud of the way the lads responded to the incompetence displayed by that referee today - Sam has never been sent off in his whole career and for his first to be for a clean tackle is laughable!!
Wisbech were poor, clueless, had we stayed 11v11 I reckon we could have hammered them by 5 or 6, epic to come away with the points in the end.
Had a great day out and I never ever though I'd sing "we only need 8 men" in my lifetime
Confue for me was motm but in truth I think today was all about togetherness, an immense performance which has me starting to think we could just do it this year !!!
On the down side, the incompetence of the ref could seriously affect our season, with 3 key players now missing for out Vase game - thankfully we have players waiting in the wings capable of coming in.
I hope we appeal the Bunts and Brown decisions (if the video has caught them) as they were very, very bad decisions!!
A referee who crumbled under the pressure of having a larger than average crowd, or is he really just that useless?? :?
Roll on next Saturday and Yaxley !! No-one can say following AFC R&D is boring can they??

The Poppies were ordered through Poppies4kits with all profit going to The Royal British Legion. I thought they looked really good too and am pleased they survived all the weather could throw at them.

They looked so good that I thought the shirts were specially embroidered.
Great work Stacey, another example of the professionalism of the people working so hard for our club.
