Not at all. It's was obvious that Peaksie, aided by Biff was the part of the management team with the UCL and local player contacts, even when Starms was the manager. This is now supplemented by Lambie's inclusion in the management team. Nothing wrong in being critical about player's performances, team selection etc. but it's the manner of that criticism that is central to the debate on this topic.
Absolutely right. There's a world of difference between a quiet discussion with fellow fans versus audible abuse of a Diamonds player during the game.
Hopefully most of our fans realise and understand this.

whatever my opinions are of a certain player, I just can't fathom why people would want to get on someones back during a game a drain their confidence further, surely it's self defeating. Have a whinge afterwards sure, but if a player is low in confidence continually moaning at him makes him have less confidence, therefore plays worse and weakens our team on the pitch at that moment.
We have form with it to be fair look at Greg Pearson, scored loads of goals, we got him, he looked not great, everyone moaned at him, he had less confidence, he left and then scored goals wherever else he has been.

If you were "shocked" by this it is clear you have lead a sheltered life. It wasn't even a response to the question you asked on the thread, it was a completely random comment. Unrelated to anything. I was merely just quoting from his excellent song. Which I hope you enjoyed singing along to after you had got over the intially shock of the use the word "bum" :o

Can I assume that the player this thread was started for has left the club, having not featured the last 2 games?

Well I just don't think he's been in the first 16. Who would he replace on last nights bench? He's not had a great career as an AFC player, but its an experienced player within the squad although he'll never be more than a last 20 man for me. Had his best game for the club against BPW, so tells me he'd do a decent job in div 1.
