I need to leave within the next ten minutes for the match. It is now raining heavily where I am. Is the match still on?

I think 2pm is too late for many of us. However conditions are not going to improve in the next 2 hours. I doubt the game will go ahead which is a shame

I am sorry, I have a 40 mile trip to the Dog and Duck, I have decided not to risk my journey. I appreciate all the hard work that the volunteers have done. It is now to late for me.

Such a shame that to come so close to getting it on, f*cking weather! But that's how it goes, unfortunately, reminds me of when St Neots fans stayed up all night burning logs in barrels on the pitch to try get a game on, but it was still called off the next morning. Fantastic effort from the volunteers though, to have got it from half flooded to so nearly getting a game on a few days later.

I understand that there is a possibility after a discussion with Dave Albon at the ground this afternoon that the game will be re-arranged, subject to the weather in the next couple of days, for Tuesday 1st January at 3pm. I await official confirmation that is the case. ;)
