The one I always remembered from that season was Ritchie Hanlon's penalty against Luton. If he'd scored that we would've won (+2) and if Trevor Benjamin hadn't blocked Onandi Lowe's shot on the line at QPR (+1) we'd have stayed up. Having said that if we had stayed up in League One in 04/05 we would've got absolutely humped sideways and finished bottom.

Wasen't that Port Vale away Benjamin blocked Lowe's shot? It was more penalties at Grimsby,Stockport and Colchester, and turning up late at Brentford that cost us, but more so than anything bringing in Tippet for Hunter as the team gave up after that

Bob, that was definatly Torquay at home,done that at home to them near enough to the day the yar after. Also the first league game against Lincoln was a Thursday ;)

Benjamin scored at Port Vale (1-1) and I think that was when Lowe was injured (along with Turley), which was why Benjamin and Ashdown were both brought in on loan. Benjamin was still here when Lowe returned and I'm pretty sure it was QPR because I was there.

It was at QPR, i remember it well!
