Lee Tomlin Vs. K*ttering (a)
the fact that there fans were already depressed was brilliant but he had too top it off by what he did!

Re: RDFC goals that you will always remember
The one I always remembered from that season was Ritchie Hanlon's penalty against Luton. If he'd scored that we would've won (+2) and if Trevor Benjamin hadn't blocked Onandi Lowe's shot on the line at QPR (+1) we'd have stayed up. Having said that if we had stayed up in League One in 04/05 we would've got absolutely humped sideways and finished bottom.diamondgeezer1 wrote:Also the game against QPR in the old second division (league 1).. it was 3-3 and Onandi Lowe was through on goal, and I thought he'd score, but missed, that goal COULD have kept us up that season.

I agree but made have made us a better takeover prospect. We will never know now.Sara Pascoe wrote: Having said that if we had stayed up in League One in 04/05 we would've got absolutely humped sideways and finished bottom.

Wasen't that Port Vale away Benjamin blocked Lowe's shot? It was more penalties at Grimsby,Stockport and Colchester, and turning up late at Brentford that cost us, but more so than anything bringing in Tippet for Hunter as the team gave up after thatSara Pascoe wrote:The one I always remembered from that season was Ritchie Hanlon's penalty against Luton. Re: RDFC goals that you will always remember
Benjamin scored at Port Vale (1-1) and I think that was when Lowe was injured (along with Turley), which was why Benjamin and Ashdown were both brought in on loan. Benjamin was still here when Lowe returned and I'm pretty sure it was QPR because I was there.ed wrote:Wasen't that Port Vale away Benjamin blocked Lowe's shot?
