Well that speculation has now changed to the Sussex League and the UCL going with teams being dispersed into Leagues in Kent and in our case the Ridgeons and molten Spartan.

No doubt further info will be divulged after the scheduled Regional Meetings by the F.A Leagues Committee on the 15th, 22nd, 29th Jan and 12th Feb, our area regional meeting is the 29th Jan.

So as you see it is all up in the air and no one knows what League we will be in as frankly no team in the UCL knows what League they will be in as it stands.

Player Approaches
« Thread Started Today at 8:03pm »

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Would the individual from a groundless club that aim to come into the UCL next season and approached one of our substituted players to ask about playing 'for them next season when they're in the UCL' as he left the changing rooms at Wellingborough Town please contact me so that I can discuss with them further. Unfortunately the clubs website doesn't offer contact details.
Didn't you state there were a few "new clubs" potentially applying to join next season and THAT's why we should be in the UCL1 as opposed to the Prem? I can think of one other potentially groundless new club other than us (AFC K*ttering). Besides that could have been a supporter making a groundless comment rather than an official, and as our fans representative stated, we do list contact details on our website. If they're expecting us to be put in UCL1, why post the message on the Prem messageboard where we'll probably not read it?
EDIT * ps, is that player any good and worth approaching, after all he did get substituted? ;)

We're all owners of our club ;) - all 300+ of us
So do you expect us to sit there all this season and not look at players who might be willing to come and play for us next season? Considering we don't yet have a Saturday team I can't see how it could be considered an illegal approach. I'd download the UCL rules, but the link doesn't work.Maybe we should just go to all the other UCL club's games and hold up a placard "come play for us next season" ?
I'd say, the UCL is ALREADY benefitting from us as our fans go along to other club's matches.

HA HA  , yeah Bob I'm getting a bit sick and tired of us trying to be really nice to them all only to be accused of this, that and anything else. If they're gonna pull this "dirty tricks" routine then what do they expect ? ;) ;)
Jeesus H Christ, don't they know we p!ssed off the likes of Leeds Utd, MMMMMILLwall and Cardiff ? ;) :D

Well they seemed pretty miffed when we held them to a draw at NP, then took the lead at Elland Rd ;)

Thought that might be what you meant. Was trying to work out when Max had approached someone from ER illegally.

Edit: Not that I am accusing anyone in the current or past club of such actions.

Who is applying from the Combination? As far as I am aware no one has anything like the required facilities and little or no prospect of getting them.
