Our fan base will fall I fear to probably around a half or two thirds of what it is now?
Who knows, but as people have said, we'll need to figure out ways to bring more money in and use the facilities we have to their full potential. We'll obviously have to go part time and maybe just open one stand on matchdays as well, so a lot of cost cutting will have to be done, hopefully with the right financial management somehow it can be possible for us to stay.

In terms of the fanbase, if we can push for promotion (which certainly won't be as easy as some will think) I don't think its too unreasonable to say we'd be able to average crowds of 1000, but obviously if we're not able to push for promotion then I'd guess on average 400-500.

With lower ticket prices also, I think we'll get near 1,000 every game.

There is a chance of that and hopefully we can put a decent team together

Is it £7 per match entry or something like that?

1000 people watching ( I think that is a maximum) = £7k per fortnight, which is £3500 per week.

Less team expenses, ground maintenence, rent, travel costs, insurance, officials.

As much as I would like to agree, playing at Nene Park is not possible on those basic figures.

Cambridge City charge £10 for adults, and I think £3 for U16s.

How do you know that this consortium even cares if we have one fan or 6500?

We can't afford to use the stadium in our current state, but we won't be in our current state this time next week. To survive we HAVE to be taken over by someone that can pay the debts we currently owe, and therefore has money. If we don't get taken over then it's R.I.P R&D, and then this discussion isn't worth having.

How do you know the consortium still wants us now were at best in the Zamerretto if we survive at all?

I am just summising that whomever ends up taking over would want us to run within our means and not over stretch ourselves.

The statement on the official site says: ''second investors still wish to proceed but on reduced terms which will take a further week to complete''.

I went to Banbury v Hemel Hempstead last season while Nabil was on loan there, and they charged £10 and £5. Incidentally, Hemel had no more than 20 fans there, possibly as few as 10. I can't remember what the overall attendance was.

Like many it seems, I find the prospect of playing in the Zamaretto strangely appealing! However, there's an awful lot to do before we can even begin to think about us playing in that league next season.

I guess it comes down to how much we want a football club doesn't it? As I said elsewhere, if we have new owners (I'll not give the current owners a penny !!!) I'll happily renew my season ticket at £300, what would have been this seasons BSP price , I reckon some others will as well ......IF we had new owners

If we charged £10 per game I reckon most would go for that, who knows, if our new owners show ambition we might get more people along.

I think we're down to the hardcore support now, 8-900 - I'd like to think they'll turn up even if we drop the 2 leagues. If they don't, then we're dead !! I see Salisbury got 700 odd this year, surely we can better that? I also think we'll get a few away followers (not many granted) because of who we are and the facilities we have - fans of other sides may be curious to have a gander at NP eh?

Rent etc would have to be re-negotiated and maybe more of the ground mothballed.

Its all what ifs and maybes anyway, we have to get past the Court first, then we have to see if there are any potential new owners, we can dream anyway.........for a few hours more at least.

In my heart I fear I'll see news tomorrow that we have been liquidated, if not it could be game on for an appeal and who knows, we may still be a BSP side next season afterall......everso hopeful here ;)
