I just don't buy that. The club sets the price and I choose whether I want to pay it - I don't ask for any special discount nor expect to receive one. I owe the club nothing however I give them my support. The price the club sets, the decisions they take, the effect they have on support are nothing to do with me.

What if the club died?

It's completely out of my hands. I do care however and I hate to see a thread with people stating they won't renew.

It wasn't a criticism. Really just something to think about for all of us. I feel if we as fans can really make a push on our part and we and the club can really achieve something next season. It should not be about us and them, but Us.

I have recently e-mailed Gill Wignall at the club, who assures me the ideas I have presented will be considered at Board level, so you CAN affect the club if they decide it's good enough to take on and run with. Who knows, they might come up with a diamond in amongst the waste ?

I wish we had 2000 fans like you! I'd worry a whole load less.

Hang on, according to this thread you only emailed yesterday. She's probably not had time to respond due to preparations for today's game. Give Gill a chance!

yeah It doesn't read right...I generally just want to know how long it took for her to get back to folks. It's midnight here....not thinking before i type

Fair enough, I know what it's like to be up at that time and not thinking straight. I'd give it until early next week, and then send it again. Or alternatively ring up the club.
