Wow, according to Companion Cooke on PoppyNet, the Poppies trust has given more money to Ladak this week despite saying they wouldn't. The entire club is fucked.

The money may, however, be KTFC money that the Trust have been processing through their bank account since the KTFC account was apparently frozen by the bank and Ladak was trying to sort out. If that's not the case then the Trust would be in a very difficult position with their members.

"I expect that Ladak could claim that the contracts the players signed are null and void because they were not signed by a properly appointed official at the club. Whoever said that the fans are being mugged off would seem to be correct. Every penny paid in cash at the turnstiles leaves no audit trail and who knows where it goes? It would appear that it is certainly not going to meet obligations under the CVA and if players are not being paid, then not all of the football debts are being met either - so where does your entrance money go? To collude with this shambles of mis-management is only postponing the inevitable for a few weeks which is simply going to tarnish the name of KTFC even further as more and more genuine people get shafted because of IL's vanity and a lack of judgement."

So if they're trading whilst insolvent is it only the Insolvency Practitioners that can wind them up (once they stop making CVA payments)? Or does it have to wait until a new creditor lodges a winding-up order? Aren't Carter Clark a bunch of crooks who were matey with KC, if so then are they going to actually wind-up KTFC?

This has got a long way to run yet IMO, I'm still sticking by my prediction that they'll still be around come Christmas, although I wouldn't mind if I was wrong.

Trading insolvently is an offence however it's not an easy one to prove. Their biggest concerns are going against any of the terms of the CVA but also any more recent creditors dropping a winding up petition (remember HMRC wont hang about!!).

Oh and besides that they need to have players paid or who are prepared to play against a promise
