Make that 4-0!

Attendance is 164 and St. Ives are pleased with that.
Anything over 150 is pretty decent for UCL, especially considering its a Tuesday night and there's the odd club in conference north/south who get that. And I notice Darlo got 1200 for their first home league game, not quite the attendance they had for their 'away' game on Saturday but still very decent.
St Ives have a class striker called Conor Washington who was being watched by Norwich and Peterborough last season. He was due to sign for Cambridge this summer but failed his medical. I think it'll be a straight fight between them and $palding for the league assuming they keep him past January and i'm not surprised they've hammered Wellingborough.

Another one of the rare good posts found on ploppynet:
We all support the poppies but if you take a moment and look at the big picture, apart from the name what K*ttering town fc is there ? We have no long serving players, no long serving management or coaches, no ground in K*ttering etc.......... What would it matter supporting a new club ? The poppies limps along people put hard earned cash in to watch the ask yourself why ? Who ever the owners what ever happens we just plod blindly on giving imran etc...,, our hard earned cash. What will it take for us fans to say enough is enough ? Some off us have and we just get criticised and told we not real fans etc... How much more can we all take
As much as of course I enjoy seeing their misfortunes, it really is a ****ing miserable state of affairs at that club and I really hope that they can start to come together and start to agree that a phoenix fan run club is the way forward for them, clearly many of them have just about had enough and I know I'd be seriously depressed if I were a K*ttering fan tonight. Will be interesting to see how many turn up for KFC's first game.

Corby bloody lost again! I thought my fiver on them to win the league with 22 points added (every team gets points added - apart from Chester and Halifax) at 16/1 was a good bet. Brackley were +12, it'll be interesting to see if they can keep that form going. I heard on the radio earlier that they've got Corcoran and Hatswell as new signings, clearly splashing the cash (and not learning from what happened to us...).

Brackley have been splashing the cash for ages, anyone got a clue who's behind it?

Be surprised if that ground is allowed in the BSP it's bloody awful.

i really think its the end for them.......the fans must act now,or theyll have nothing to support.they must stop torchering themselves with all that crap the club keeps spewing at them.surely some of the supporters must get together and get the pheonix club started.i am supprised they didnt do it for this season,i know its easy to be taken in by all the bile from GR/,IL ETC good god i even believed it   they MUST ACT NOW,,.i know its difficult and i must admit i dont know the answers, but the fans must take the hardest decision of all ----KILL THE CLUB BEFORE THOSE AT THE TOP DO IT FOR YOU!!!!!!! be kind to yourselves, you dont need to take that crap------ MOVE ON(TAKE YOUR HISTORY WITH YOU,WHILE YOU STILL CAN)
in the meantime, they could come and watch a few games at the dog and duck,at least we do try and play football on the grass(they may even pick up a few pointers for their pheonix club, this is by no way meant to be patronising to them ,i really do wish them all the best)
GOOD LUCK KTFC FANS

I do feel sorry for their genuine fans, who must be at such a low ebb now.

The situation they are in seems terminal, and I think fans should seriously start considering preparations for a Phoenix team.

If they do now have it in them to kill off KTFC then they could really go into next season with some momentum in UCL1. They could spend the next 9 months getting the 'One Member, One Vote' thang set up etc, build around the NSYL games (they could easily get the crowds that we were getting), get the ground sorted out at that Academy. I think they'd be mad to pass up this opportunity.

It'll be interesting to see what nuggets of purest shite Ladak comes out with in the next hour or two...
