Alasan Ann was exceptional last Friday at CB. After the game I was told he was actually a striker?

Their game with the Cobblers seems to have demonstrated the fact their new chairman will have similar problems with committing to things that aren't delivered - there was an official statement which was never retracted that the Cobblers would bring a first team, yet the cobblers site said before the game that they weren't treating it as a first team game. He also committed the Poppies would play their full first team squad for 90 minutes too - needless to say that didn't happen.

Still at least he has Ladak and Rolls there at Nene Park tonight to give him advice - and to inflate the attendance past the 250 mark.

"250 odd" attendance and Ladak in the building.

Ladak, Cousins, Thompson and Rolls, what a fantastic quartet for them to have!

Don't forget Jeune's track record too - http://peterhall.org.uk/pdfs/Evolution/ ... Report.pdf > Mind you, the Poppies fans seemed to have failed to spot that.

Good old boy is Ritchie, said in the ET today that Nene Park is the key to KTFC success so another one that will be 'sweating the facilities' I reckon. :D

Quotes from Ploppynet ........

"It did seem very quiet tonight, hopefully once the season kicks off it will be different"

"A winning team will bring punters in hopefully"

Yawn ..........!!

Give that stuck record a kick.

There's always an excuse when they get a poor crowd. Too expensive, not Wobbs first team, only a friendly, watching the Olympics on the telly etc. Someone this afternoon thought they would get 900 with 500 from Northampton. 250 was a rude awakening for him.

Jon Dunham has just retweeted a tweet from one of the Ploppies players Ed Palmer complaining that he hasn't been paid!

Their delusion never ends, I guess they'll be predicting 2000 for the opening home game of the season, what a shock they'll get when only 400 turn up

And am I missing something with all their support and positivity with the new chairman appointed, they're all acting like they've got a great future (someone even mentioned FL again!), but how, with the question of how the hell are they going to survive at NP in the long term surely still looming. And with the fact that there's already rumours of players not getting paid, I'd be pretty worried about the future if I were a Ploppies fan.
