Hard to disagree with that, but to confirm, the cut off is Step 4 and above and Step 5 and below. I recognise this rule could favour us if a player from Steps 1-3 who was suspended chose to play for us for a couple of games but surely it makes a mockery of the system and only the club are penalised not the player.
Just assume for a moment Andrade had not warranted being sacked by Diamonds.This is particularly highlighted through no fault of the club we lose a player for four games at a critical time of the season yet he can continue to play and draw a wage at Boston.
When I was a lad!!! Suspensions were for a period of time eg two weeks. This was unfair because a player could be suspended for any number of games or none at all if bad weather caused games to be postponed. That is why the current system of a number of games rather than a period of time were introduced.
Now it seems just get a red card and go and play for someone else. Whats the betting Tyler turns out for a Step 5 club tomorrow?

As we know, the players were advised that they wouldn't be selected again this season and as a result were free to pursue other opportunities.
