The Lottery is only used for the playing budget as per the terms of the lottery itself, except the percentage that goes to the winner of course. The perception of how it's used is maybe a grey area. I think some people think it's used to sign one particular player or pay the wages of a couple of specific players who might be paid more than others. The reality is that a % is withdrawn each month and used to top up the overall playing budget by anywhere between 10%-20% depending on the number of gameweeks in a month. The lottery is absolutely vital but as you say, does need a push or a relaunch. We are aware of that.

A 'boost the budget' campaign that puts 100% of funds directly in to the playing budget is in the works and pretty much ready for launch, but we've been hesitant to pull the trigger on it due to concerns around impact on the lottery which as I say, is absolutely vital. I'm sure we will move on it shortly though, but it would be interesting to gauge interest in that from those on this forum?

New home - sit tight on that. Nothing to report at this stage but there are avenues that are being explored. As/when we need support on that you'll all know about it.

Of course the injuries have damaged our side, but for me our player of the season Calvin Green should be back in midfield and Tejan Thomas at centre half. Get the 2 wingers on the pitch McHugh and Wysocki and let's attack the Loughborough game, cos if we don't it's just looking like another incoming defeat. We need to try and support Jamal better up front and start to make chances.
For my money this team is currently underperforming, needs to show it's teeth and back it's management with a big performance. The sooner we get to 40 points the better, I think that's going to be the "avoid the bottom 3" total.
