What a belter of a song that would be.
I almost made a post asking for suggestions on potential forwards and he's the one I had in mind. Canavan also is a good shout.

I see Brackley are struggling in Conference North, i've often wondered whether Sam Smith would be a realistic signing for us at this stage.
I spoke to Sam smith (at gym) in the autumn and asked him if he would join us . As we are going places and have the fans ect... He said he definitely would but was so reluctant to drop too many leagues. At that point he was with Hinckley or rugby I think not getting in the side, and he knew there was a chance at brackley to prove himself.
I guess in his mind it would feel like he has failed in his career but that's my judgment.

I'd be determined to come back to @AFCRD if wanted, & give 100% & play for nothing & just the love for the club !

Personally putting bad feeling aside the way Alfie and the club separated, I would love to see him return to the club. Alfie was a goal machine back in the day, but like it has been mentioned chances are few and far between at this level. Not sure you can write Alfie off though as until he's given the chance cannot be judged.

Should/an unlikely if he was to return not sure how he would play with Berwick as they are too similar in their play, both selfish and as proved with Alfie and jake Newman in the end might not make a good partnership.. But I would love to see him return, he will always go down as a diamonds favourite!!

Merry Christmas everyone :drinks:

Definitely within our budget but we are looking for a pairing to work together and off of each other, and for the team. I think we miss a big man up front LIKE Dunkley, someone who scares defenders.

Dunkley was class and in my opinion every effort should have been made to retain him ahead of Lorraine & Joseph.

Dunks has retired from football what is the point of even mentioning him other than to say Happy Christmas to him his lovely other half and their children.
