Really encouraging display yesterday. Defensively excellent and we restricted them to very little. Even when they were throwing everything at us towards the end we wouldn't let them create anything meaningful.

I think we're really lucky to have a player like Claudio Hoban in our side, he's extremely talented but would be even better if he got his head up a bit more. Their left back looked like he was on the pitch to take set pieces so it was a shame we didn't put Hoban on the right side at any point as I thought we could have had a lot of joy there.

We have nothing to fear in this league. I do however think that Royston's start has been a bit deceiving so i'll be keeping an eye on them.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

Apart from trying to fix their website (which appears to have been troublesome for sometime according to a "Non-League Matters" discussion), I wonder if the Southern League will comment on the fact that the Moles started with a player wearing number 12 rather than 2, and used a substitute wearing 19. I don't expect the Moles will have to appeal to the FA about any sanction the league might take.

Wasn't there a pre match announcement about number 12 playing?

Quite possibly - but being towards the far end of the ground at that time I struggle to hear the PA. The fact there seemed difficulty naming who the number 19 was when he came on suggested that wasn't too clear.
