Well put Dowlo my thoughts exactly pretty much.
Brilliant display with 11 men, brilliant with 10 and 9, and just incredible with 8! To not concede a goal with 8 men for about 25+ mins is ridiculous! Shouldn't really single people out but Finley, Ashton and Confue were unbelievable.
The referee was utter garbage, but not helped by two assistants I have to assume are blind. A disgraceful performance by all 3 of them. However for all of the Ref's faults, and there were many, fair play to him for not abandoning the game, something I thought looked a likely scenario at HT. Also Wisbech deserve a bit of credit for not pestering the ref to abandon it.
My view of the red cards (which if my view of Brackley's first goal is anything to go by probably aren't worth reading):
1st - Looked harsh to send Bunts off but a little reckless. Player of his experience should know better than to dive in like that.
2nd - Seemed to be an insanely bad decision by the referee.
3rd - Mindless and thoughtless for Dunks to do what he did given he was on a yellow. Left the ref with no choice and left his teammates in a pickle too if they weren't already.
Regardless of the red cards, the passion and determination shown by those that remained and the atmosphere in the terrace at the end brought back memories of days gone by. The game will live long in the memory i'm sure. I think i'm still drying out actually.
